Before

BEFORE

When I graduated high school I weighed a good 183 lbs. Not that anything was wrong with that, I have seen beautiful women who have weighed more than that! But, I wasn't happy with myself. I was miserable not being able to wear what I wanted and hated that I could barley fit into my graduation dress when the day came. Now, I would like to tell you that I was determined to lose weight, I worked hard, etc. But, that is the thing...I didn't. I suffered from my Gallbladder attacks nightly, daily, and all in between. So, I started to lose weight with a combination of birth control and being sick. As November of 2013 hit, I got down to 140! After my surgery that month, I was down to 128 lbs. My goal was to be 120! This is a healthy weight for my height (5'3") and I plan on gaining and toning my muscles in my arms, stomach, legs, and butt. My goal is not to be "perfect" or "beautiful". My goal is to be happy with who I am PHYSICALLY. UPDATE: A few years later, I still struggle with my weight. I was steady at 130lbs and have gotten myself back up to 155lbs. This is where I'm starting again Nov 8 2014

3 week update || Weight loss || Reaching Goals

It's been 3 weeks since my husband and I have started better eating habits and working out.
We've had our "yo-yo" moments with the weight, thanksgiving of course threw us off. But, we hopped back on and are continuing to work hard to lose some weight.

As of today I have lost 10lbs! I know I can do better before the end of December and since this month isn't really a big foodie month (lets hope not) for our family, it shouldn't be an issue. My goal in my previous post was to lose 7lb before the new year and I have achieved that. My new goal is to KEEP it off and let's see if I can get 10 more lbs down the drain!

Along side our running, which is about 3/4 times weekly, 30 min sessions, I have started a daily 7min working out routine via the Pacer App and depending on our my week has gone I will do a full body work out.

I've taken a picture nearly every run after a mile.

The sunset we see on the trail <3

We have been better about staying on top of our diets and calorie counting. I have been using some products to help curb my appetite and get my metabolism back on track (more on that later).

I plan on doing vlogmas this year with my youtube channel, so look forward to seeing those posted on here as well! (Channel name LynnModest, linked on my blog)

Just gonna add Day 2 of my little garlic plant sprouted (the day AFTER I planted!)
